Dr. Bristol is an international speaker, the founder of Standing Strong, a consultant, teacher and writer on Israel and faith related issues. With a PhD in business administration, an MBA, MA, and a BA in education, Dr. Bristol authored a number of articles for Dispatch from Jerusalem, and other publications. He is a teacher in residence with Bible Times Learning Center and has knowledge in both the Jewish and Christian religions, items relative to Israel, non-profit business issues, and fundraising. The Bristol family came to Israel on a tour in 2003 and then relocated to Israel in 2004 as volunteers. Richard served as the Israel Operations Director and then as Sr. Research Analyst with a major nonprofit (amuta) organization in Israel. One of the things we noticed while working with nonprofits here in the Land were the number of people who fell through the cracks or did not fit the mission statements of various Christian organizations, and thus were not helped. Now, as an independent organization, our goal is to help those people, both Jew and gentile.
Having now returned to the United States, we lead Bible Study, research for Bible Times Center in Jerusalem, and raise funds to continue to support Believers in Israel who are persecuted for their faith.
