Standing Strong has an outreach focus of micro grants for business start ups, incubation, planning, and supervision in order to give hope and dignity to those in Israel trying to break out of financial difficulties. Business planning and personal family budget development are also offered. |

Succot is the feast of the last ingathering, or fall harvest. It is very rewarding to be harvesting from the produce given by G-d in His land to help those trying to build a new income source to support their family. There are those in Israel who own land and have trees that are ripe with fruit but do not harvest the trees. Sometimes it is for lack of family to work the land with them, sometimes it is just due to lack of interest. The love of the land and the desire to work agriculture is dying in Israel, even as it did in the United States. This is a dangerous situation in that Israel must be able to rely on itself for most of its foods. Being surrounded by hostile nations that practice Islam calling for the removal of Israel, she must be able to provide for herself. Standing Strong is helping a family set up an Olive harvesting business whereby they get permission to harvest the trees that are being left unharvested by the owners. Through building a trusted relationship we get to allow those who wish to volunteer or tourists who want the experience of working the land of promise for day or a half day, to work the land with the produce going to support this family Harvesting one of the seven species of the land — What a blessing for all who join in.
